Bassani BX and SS...what is the difference? Which is better?

 

The SS is stainless steel. The BX is aluminized steel. Obviously the SS would be the better choice for location.

 

SS is all stainless; the BX has coated steel pipes/mufflers with the same stainless tips as the SS version. Both identical as to how they're built, just different materials.

I think the BX is slightly quieter inside the cab, sounds the same out the pipe.

I'm a few miles from Akron. I worked in downtown for the past year or so and just started back in the Akron area.

 

just installed bx cat back with no cat mid pipes and its extremely loud. makes a clacking sound when accelarating. sounds like a big 4 wheel drive truck. anybody with just the cat back have the same noise. was told that it was because the two mufflers right next to each other are echoing off of each other. any body have the dyna tech true dual w/ magnaflow mufflers.
