Weird sound comeing from my Lightning.

Ok, so my truck has developed a sound that kinda seems like slaping, or something like it. Its not all the time, I can't hear it idleing or reving the engine while in park. But I start to hear it when I drive it. Just driving normaly on the road I don't hear it, but as I give it more gas it becomes more noticable. The rate of it also increases with the rpm. Its started doing this after a WOT blast and I let off right before the shift into 3rd when a car came around corner.

If it was the engine, then I would/should hear it all the the time but I don't. Im thinking it may be something in the exhaust but Im not sure. I drive around with the windows down listening to it, but I can't tell where it is. Any ideas?

Check the molding around your windshield. It often comes loose and sounds like the noise is originating elsewhere on the truck.

Best is two zip ties 180 degrees apart and at each end of the drive shaft.
