How much to ship a Lightning longblock?

Obviously I'm not going to drop it off at the UPS store.. What shipping company's are out there? For an engine, is it normal to stablize it on a crate for shipping?

Anyone shipped an engine from say New York to Kansas or a similar distance? What was the price.. Thanks.

I'll pay the shipping charges, if you ship it to my house.

Have Sal throw in a built lower end, and it's a deal.

I'll put it into perspective for you guys. I was going to ship my stock hood to Hawaii for someone - It was over $200.00 because of the size not the weight!

Yes it is. When it is done, I want to ship the stock longblock to the guy who bought in Kansas City. We are driving the truck home and I was originally just going to haul it back, but we want to do a little vacation now.
