More Whipple pics and opinions (as requested)

well i've got 300 miles on the kit and figured i would pop in and give an update. First i absolutely love this setup. It looks great and performs great. I have no noises from the kit, no lockups etc, besides the slight procharger whine at idle. The power comes in very quickly. mated up with my converter it doesn't take long to get the tires spinnin. One thing i noticed is how much more low end this thing has compared to the eaton. Just giving enough gas to get to zero boost puts you back in your seat and lifts the front end up a good bit. As for a dyno the closest one i would trust is in phoenix 125 miles away. there is 1 dynojet in town but it is a dump, it's ricerville, and a friend went and they had to remove 4 engines sitting on the dyno off to get his on so screw that. also i plan on trailering up my truck. Anyway i cleaned up my truck including the motor and here are some pics:

That is so hot. Every two weeks I save up just enough money to buy one then I spend it then start all over again. I'm really starting to want one very bad.

Now how about plug changes, can they be done without pulling the blower? I have done work on a lightning with a Works 140 and I could not get the last plug without pulling the blower. Have you attempted a plug change yet?

Thanks for the compliments all

As far as plug changes the blower will need to be pulled. however it's actually faster. you have the intake boot, throttle body linkage, 5 vac hoses, egr nut and 4 10mm bolts and the entire compressor and upper intake comes right off giving you a ****load more room

I've never had to remove my Works 140 to change a plug. I bet Ive pulled the plugs ten times at least.

I have done plug changes on both Works 112 and Works 140 setups with the blowers in place. It wasn't fun, but it could be done. Like Spanky, I perfer to remove the blower, it's really easy and gives you tons of room to work.
