I just went from 3.73's to 4.10's after changing to 22 inch wheels. If you think your truck feels ball-less at light throttle acceleration around town, 4.10's are noticeably better.

thanks Harley for the size on that.....9.75...got it.

Also thanks to menace for doing all of the legwork.....I am convinced that this will be in the very near future for my truck. I just have to find a good gear shop to do this here in Tampa Bay. I have 3.55's now - so I can't wait to feel the difference.

Menace....you have email.

Called them......they aren't cheap.
$465 just for the install...(labor, bearing overhaul, and lube)

that doesn't count the ring and pinion.

he also said to go with OEM parts ...so it won't whine.

Just did mine, I would say it is a waste of money going from 3.73 to 4.10. The difference is BARELY noticeable, if I did not get the install for free and the parts for $200, I would never have done it. I would not do it again!! They work great, just not the best mod, get a Converter instead. I have a Hughes 2800 Stall Triple Disc, and it WAS WORTH EVERY CENT!! I highly recommend the converter, and I would stay away from the gears!
