Smooth Steps and Rollpan... uh.... possibilities?

Alright, checked out some old posts for this (and holy crap, so many people stopped posting here) and have found pretty much crap.

OK.... lets start where I did. Cervini has a new bumper for the L. Um.... I thought it was as ugly as an *******, plus it was fiberglass. Sir Micheals seems like theyre coming back with the rollpan for our trucks. Still their website is in shambles. I could order the rollpan, but it was zero dollars. So I emailed them, and should hear back Tuesday. Oh, also, they don't have the flairside tailgate skin anymore, WTF? On rollpans, I kept hearing Pro-Glass was going to make some nice rollpans about 8 months ago. And I saw one fuzzy picture of a rollpan that didn't fit for around 800 bucks? Still fiberglass. I guess I'm just a fan of steel. Yeah, and I keep hearing street scene sucks, and I don't really like the look.

Next, it seems like everyone and their mother is making smooth side steps. Or more like just SS and Cervini. Haven't heard anything about Cervini's side steps, but considering their rear bumper I'm kinda shady about the whole idea. SS I don't really even wanna try before I see the side steps.

So..... um..... what the hell is the deal? Sir Michaels has the bumpers, but you can't get them yet, so I'm guessing they will have them soon. But anyone else actually have a decent rollpan for less than a grand? Smooth roll pans? Someone made a nice one with some billet inserts, but I can't seem to find any info on that. How are the cervini smooth steps, they don't even have a picture on their website? I can't wait for any more R&D from some of these companies, I'm getting Metallic Blue Pearl Coat all over my truck as soon as I get these parts ordered.

So.... anyone have any 3rd party opinions, full out hallucinations, or possibly actual information about any of this crap?

Is this the Cervini's piece you saw?

If so, I like it alot better than any of the others I've seen. It really cleans up the bottom corner where the Stock ground effect comes together funny with the other rollpans I've seen.

I personally have the Lund Rollpan. It looks better than than the others except the new Cervini's in my opinion, and it was only $129. I got my smooth steps from SS, but they were very poor quality. In retrospect I would have just modded and painted my stock steps.

I know this is a bad pic, but it is before I had the bottom tailgate piece painted also.

Yeah, that's the bumper. It just doesn't seem like it fits too well. Not a fitment issue, just the look.
