what is everybody using for header gaskets?

the gasket between the head and the header.

i have kooks LT's. one of the gaskets is leaking i think, and could be the cause of my p0175 code the truck keeps throwing.

i was thinking of the percy's ones:

but somebody suggested that the stock gaskets are the best.

what is everybody using?

I have a small exhaust leak also, I believe it to be the header gaskets also. I'm glad I saved my original gaskets. They are going back on when I have time.

I don't remember though, one side was 2 piece gasket the other was only 1 piece. Which went on which side?

The stock Ford multilayer gaskets are the best there are. They can be reused many times as well.

I've had good luck with the Percy's collector gaskets, but I had a set of the head/header gaskets blow out on me. I went back to stock and they have been sealing great. They are very expensive to buy though if you didn't save yours.

The stock manifold gaskets/header gaskets can be reused.

I used mine over when installing the headers. No leaks at all.

Captain the 2 piece goes on the driver side.

I used the Ford Racing graphite gaskets. Haven't had any leaking problems with them. 15 bucks for a set.
