5.4SC *vs* 5.4

what are all the diffrences between the long block of both of these motors? kinda curious to see if the compression is the same with both motors along with the cams and all that...

If you do a search, you'll find several threads that going into vast detail on the subject, pertaining to internals based on model year and such. But in a nutshell, the SC motor has a slightly lower compression ratio (8.4:1). You can still supercharge a non-SC 5.4; I do custom tunes for Lightning conversion regular 5.4s all the time.
