Questions regarding shocks...please help.

Ok, I've been searching for two days now on getting some 03/04 shocks for my 00 L.

Here are the part numbers I have found:

Rear Insulator Nuts # F65Z-18197-BB
Front Shocks # 1L37-18124-AC
Rear Shocks # 1L37-18125-AA

My questions are: Do I only need one each of these part numbers (does the front shocks part # include a pair of shocks...same for rear), and do I need more than one of the part numbers for the Rear Insulator Nuts?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
Part # is for one (1) shock so you'll need 2 of each (front & rear). Depending on who you buy your shocks from, they may already come with the correct insulator nuts in the box.

EXAMPLE: units from FORD will not come with the nuts. Friend of mine who bought from a local AUTOZONE got 4 new nuts (front & rear)

WoW! One shock?? I thought that everyone said you could buy the front and back for around $150? If there is only 1 shock per part number, it's going to be closer to $300 + for the shocks. Does that sound right? I checked fordpartsonline.com and they don't include part numbers. Also, when I searched for part numbers about 5 hours ago it came back with results...now I get part not found....strange. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Check this out: http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...stall_tips.htm

Scroll to the bottom...he says that the shocks are $150 for all 4. The ones listed on ebay are $243.99.

I really don't want to end up buying 8 shocks instead of 4...LOL. I'm confused I've been told that you only get 1 shock per part number which would be $300 + and this "how-to" says $150.

Any ideas...thoughts?

Thanks again,
Jim
