I see 15-16 most of the time driving normal. Most Ive ever seen was 17 driving on the interstate and worse was was 10 pulling a trailer with a mustang on it to the track.

average 12 to 13 mpg. Had to convert liters to gallons so it's close.

This past month I have really just driven my L on the flat interstate down here in SC (I say 95% of the time)...All three times I hand calculated my mileage and got 16.xx miles/gallon twice and once I got right at 17

dang - and I thought that 17mpg was bad for mine. I guess I should go celebrate.

By the way, Ohio State is beating the Longhorns - pray that doesn't change!!!

Very close to mine on mostly hiway driving at about 70.
This is tuned for summer, 91 oct. extra rich A/F, 10 degrees timing with a KB 60# injectors and 255 fuel pumps.

It's mostly about what "OH-MAN" noted at the bottom of his post - "foot control." If you drive for mileage, you can get 15 - 17+ mpg. If you don't , you won't. As others have noted - you stay around 60 or so on the highway and "challenge" yourself to see if you can "hit the lights" in the city - you'd often be surprised at the mileage you can get.
