My truck went 12.6 with a 2# lower, SBTB, and Bassani catback on slicks.

12.92 @ 108 with a 2#, intake, chip, shortie headers, electric fan, hi flow water pump on F1's. Had more in her but it was getting to hot out in the season and never took it back with the 2# on.

12.88 no pulley, chip filter 3.73's and ram air on a 99. any of the newer trucks should see 12's moderately easy with a 2# lower.

As you can see everyone of the previous members lives near or above the Mason-Dixon Line. You on the other hand are in heat/humidity capitol of the US.

You might be able to do it, but you do have to take weather into consideration. Not trying to discourage you.

My truck in nice southern weather only pulled a 12.91 with a 4#, and a ported eaton. That was at 5200 lbs, and on drag radials.

I think if you do want it wait until winter, or drive north to make your run.

Where did you make that pass? What was the temp/humidity? How much weight reduction did you have? Those are some great #'s especially compared to my slow truck.

The TALON guys make a yearly trip to Hallsville raceway in the LATE FALL.
Late fall to us is November. The track is ( or was ) known for good traction, some folks say its down hill but its IHRA sanctioned.

I pulled the front seat, the spare, the tailgate and snuglid. I ran a 12.52 at Cecil about 8 weeks earlier

Thanks for the responses it looks like there are a decent amount without chips too. I especially like that fact.
I know I will have a time with it because of temps so I'll wait till they drop some.
1st time @track I ran a 13.6 @102 with a 2.1 60' now I have a 2# and some slicks and skinnys so hopefully I'll be in the club.
