Question Brakes and suspension questions...

I am in bad need of some new pads so I was thinking of putting on new rotors also. I want to go with Rotorpros slotted and dimpled and Hawk HPS pads. I have sent requests for quotes to raceshopper.com and rotorpros directly. I'm waiting for responses from both. However, I saw that rotorpros has them on ebay for $270.00. Only thing is... they want $60 for shipping. I've seen a lot of people getting them for $290.00 with shipping. Is it cheaper to order them directly from them or do you have to get them via ebay?
Also, my truck seems to hit bumps in the road pretty hard anymore. I've got 47K on the odom and the only update to the suspension has been 2" rear drop shackles. Actually when I hit smaller bumps, the brake pedal really vibrates back and forth. It's been doing this so long, I can't remember if it's normal. Sometimes it feels like the back end swings out a little when I hit some larger bumps and the truck makes a pretty loud "bamb".. Any suggestions of what might need replaced or if you have the same experiences?
I'm getting to the point where everything needs replacing or maintenance @ once. :-( I just had the transmission pan dropped, filter replaced and then a complete flush and refill and changed the oil. Now I need rotors, pads and possibly new suspension components. Hopefully after these updates I'll be good for a while.
47K on the truck and she still hauls BIG time....and to think, I almost got rid of her over the winter....what was I thinking...IDIOT!

Thanks ahead of time, Jim

I got 64k on the odmeter. Ive noticed going over bumps/ crappy roads seems to be more noiser and rougher. Do the stock shocks wear out over time ? Also if i hit the brakes hard some times my truck pulls hard to the right...

Yes, the stock shocks do wear out. I would be more
concerned with the pull. Sounds like a R&R of the wheels
to check everything is in order.

Thanks for the replies!

Here is what I got back for the pads...are these correct for a 2000 L ?

HB299F.650 HPS $68/set
HB301F.630 HPS $59/set

Here is what I got for the Rotors:

We can provide you all four rotors for $290 for zinc plated only or $330 for custom colored rotors

I was thinking of maybe going with the Red colored rotors since I've got a red L. What do you think?

Thanks again.

Well...I ordered the Red rotors and the HPS pads...can't wait to get them and get rid of the squealing @ every other stop. So when I take the calipers off, I can't let them hang down right? This will be my first brake job to date. Thanks for the responses.

Hawk Pads have a tendency to squeal a little. Brand new HPS pads and the squeal a little but stop GRRRREAT!
