Ya, I talked to a guy the other day who had a 650hp LIghtning. I could clearly see the stock blower, pullies, and exhaust. He said all that stuff had been changed out for the good ones. What ever....some people you just can't talk to.

 

Maybe it was the same guy at my school that asked me why my gen 1 said Lightning on it.... Told me there's no Lightnings before '99.

I think he ment to say he will have one in 2 weeks. A guy at a car show tried telling me my 02' came stock with 391's in the rear. Figures he was driving a chevy.

I just sold my 01 after dynoing @411 hp , even I was impressed ! with just bolt ons . . . GO ford ! And thats from a chevy man , this is my first ford in 25 years of driving .

I have an 03 sonic blue lightly modded on the way . I looked at 04's BUT they ARE the same as 03's and most people that I know around here say that there is not an 04 L , just leftover 03's with high build #'s to prove it ?

I could not find an "04" for under $28k ( low mile truck ) so went looking for an 03 and saved about 3 grand .

Most cars / trucks do this when a line is ending , so I dont' see what the big deal is , Just go drive !!

 

Our local dearler had six 03's on the lot till about six months ago. All gone now.
