chrome grill mod = ghetto

I got all hyped looking at the pictures from the other people in the forum so I decided to take the leap. I installed it and from far away it looks great but from up close, it looks pretty cheap.

Just thought I would give my $0.02.

I've wanted to see it up close myself. It would take some talent to make that idea work out nicely. I thought it suspicious that nobody ever posts a close up pic of their work. It looks sharp from far enough away that you can't pick out the details. The outer edges for instance.

Yep, its almost as ghetto as door molding around the tank seam of a VTX motorcycle. It has no business in the business...

outer edges were hard to get (cutting at the correct angle). The most obvious part was where the chrome had to terminate at the ford emblem.

It looks good from far away but I wouldn't dare recommend this to anyone who likes to put thier truck in shows.

I loved mine at first, but it got old quick. So I ordered some speed grilles and installed them. Much better look IMO.

wheel + tire = 75-80 lbs. Not too bad for 22s I guess.

Im ordering the same exact wheels.. im glad i finally saw them on a L.... whats the offest like??? close to stock, do they sit in, or do they stick out, or are they perfect... I cant wait... what size tire are you running.. I think the only tire size that will work for me is a 295/30/22.. the 285/35/22 is a little tall for my application..
