Best slick size?

I want to get some slick for a fairly stock truck(usual mods) so which size should I get I found too much conflicting info in the searches.

A 26x11x16 or 28x11x16?
Is that the right sizes? Also what width on rims 16x8 or 16x10??

go for the 28" ones. you can use them, and they will be good once you add some mods also.

as far as the wheels, 16x10" is recommended for a wider contact patch, but you can use 16x8" wheels with no problem. they are easier to find too.

get those 16x7s, put 2 up front, buy 16x10s for the rear, sell the other 2 16x7s. Usually 26" slicks are good for up to about 430-450ish rwhp. If you plan on more mods, then maybe 28s would be a wise decision. I definitley wouldn't run 7" wide rims on the back though

i have M.T. e/t streets 26x11.5x16 with some cheap steel wheels(heavy but budget friendly) and im only at 360rwhp/407ft lbs w/ no problems hooking up and they do great for me in the 1/8th mile (since thats the closest track around) my times on the f1's were 8.9 now i can hit 8.5 since i got the tires

Most run 28" tall tires in the back for 3.73 gears. most of the folks with 3.55's run a 26 tall tire. when you start hitting higher hp numbers and running out of rpm at the track then you need to switch to a taller tire maybe 30" tall
