someone correct me if im wrong b/c i dont know everything either, thats y im in lincoln tech to learn but when the air goes through the supercharger before reaching the cumbustion chamber it cools the air increasing power b/c our blowers love cold air!

 

i dunno price but im guessing anywhere from $400 to $500

yea man its whatever u like dont let anyone try to persuade you i think its cool but that exhaust its horrible and the front bumper needs a lower grill, looks like it needs fog lights and some new paint good luck

 

In NY they do it all the time, after their F- up by selling 2 people the same Lightning ( at least I got to test KILL it first, AH HA HA HA )

I went to the same salesman I got my last two ford trucks from and told him I was looking for a used L. He went out, found a guy who was selling one, bought it from him and sold it to me. He wanted a little much for it, so we worked out a deal, where I still payed as much for it as I wanted to. Overall it probably took 3 to 4 months, but this was at a time when used Ls werent that hard to find.

Mine came from Long Island, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone like you beat the ***** out of it before it came to me.

 

Went to the dealer in august of 01, they had 2 of every color. At the time that was only black, red, white, and silver. Walked away with a silver one at x-plan pricing, was a good buying experience. I have sense ditched it and bought a cobra and now an srt. So alot has changed......

 

mine kind of found me, she just kept calling out to me as i passed by. used 03L sitting on Nissan lot late 04. apparently these kind of trucks don't sell too well round here. it must've set on the lot for a month out front next to the road, in plain sight-- immaculate, 2k miles. i wasn't really "looking" for an L, just "thinking" about one. the test drive was all it took to realize i needed, wanted, had to have it, but I spent another 2 weeks agonizing over selling another beloved vehicle to make room in the garage and bank accnt. finally salesman calls me and says "you want it or not?", i said yes I'll take it if you'll sell it to me at X amount.... calls back and says it is yours come sign the papers :santa:

 

Searched for a couple months online. Found a True Blue 2002 for $22,500 with 5000 miles, but the guy decided to sell it without telling me after I made arrangements to come pick it up. Finally found a Sonic Blue 2003 with 8,000 miles in Albany, NY. Flew from South Florida and drove the truck home! My first Lightning, which was a 2002 True Blue, I looked for a couple days and then found it locally and went and picked it up.... but that was in 2002!

had my first test drive in 03. It was a new one and was pretty smooth, good launch and unknown to me it had a modded valve body. a nice 10'-12' rip in to seckond at med throttle. Unlike rob 02 the sales rep was with us. The wife
liked it, unlike my 57 chev where she was always screaming at me when i would hammer it and she'd be looking at the headliner. Glad lightning's have high back buckets. Did not buy that one. In 04 I started looking again. Saw and visited a 03 grey one several times, but passed. Several weeks later the sales rep calls to tell me that the dealer has discounted the truck almost 25%
as it is last years model. Two days later i make it by and it was already gone.

so several months pass and that dealer now has two left of the 04 in may. Black and silver. Five hours of negations for the black one only to discover it had been sold in that time, so i was walking out the door to leave ( 3 rd time)
and the dealer dropped another $ 1000.00 off the price to lure me back.
Having lost 3 already I took it.

great fun and the best bang for the buck.
