Just thought everyone would like an update!

 

Yep, 2 more weeks.

 

They called me on May 3 to tell me that same story. (I was #1 on the waiting list).

Shonda told me to call back in a week to get an exact arrival time on the compressors.

I called back one week later. I called 4 times on the same day, talked to 4 different people, and received 4 totally different stories. The answers ranged from "2 weeks" to we really don't know (finally the truth).

After being lied to by everyone I talked to at Whipple since November I got a KB. Received it in 2 days. I'm happy now.

Even if the compressors had come in when they said, I just couldn't put my faith (and my Lightnings future) in a company which has consistantly lied about their product for more than seven months now.

I am a bit curious. I know they were out of compressors a couple months ago. But since then they showed the compressors as arriving but needed to re-do the intake. Since they have not sold any kits, and now the intakes are done, where did those compressors go?

i guess they are selling so many units that they are all out again. if thats the case they really need to get on their supplier to get them out faster this is the type of thing that hurts a company, its all about supply and demand. i see a whole lot of demand but zero supply.

That's bull*****. Yes I have a KB on my truck and am happy with it. But no matter what was on my motor I would feel the same.
How can anyone that has ANY self respect purchase parts from a company that LIES SO MUCH>???

They have compressors then they don't>??? They have this but they don't have that. When that comes in they don't have this anymore>???
I don't care how good the product is or will be, why let someone walk all over you like that>??? THEY need YOU, YOU don't need THEM.
I better stop before I start really saying how I feel.
But if you ask me, anyone on that waiting list that actually forks over the dough is pretty pathetic if all these stories are true. -Mat-

P.S. Before any jokers say I am anti-Whipple or have a grudge or whatever, do a search, I don't think I have ever commented on the Whipple before this.

as of last week according to dustin there are over 1800 units back ordered from lynsholm. 1202 are sold and 300+ are lightning kits. I have been the first to order sice i first announced orders were being taken. when i get mine i will post it. i'm in no rush for it as it's 110 here daily and i'm not going to be going racing or anything
