Finally ordered a real mod.

Yeah I know, I've got some fluff stuff in my mod lists. Finally ordered a FTVB from Andy at Chickenears. I also ordered his blend of Oil, Greggs that is, too. Andy said that I wouldn't need to get a new filter since I was using the factory pan. I hadn't heard of this but I am no expert. Sure is a good price with the sale going on.

While you have the tranny pan down, its a good idea to add the 4x4 trans pan and filter. It holds bout a quart or a lil more than the stock pan and has a drain plug to help with later trans fluid changes. He was probly sayin u didnt need a new filter cause u were not goin to use the 4x4 pan cause it uses a different filter. Nice chioce of mods .

It would still be a good idea to slap a new filter in while you are there depending on your mileage. -Mat-

That's what I was thinking. I have 29k on it so I guess that I might as well go get one. My brother is lending me a inch pound torque wrench so I should be good to go.

Yes, if you have 29,000 miles then change the filter when you are in there. Best of luck on the install, pretty simple. -Mat-
