Has anyone removed the throttle cables from the mounting bracket that mounts to the under side of the TB? I have a new bracket that I had chrome plated and want to swap'm out.
I have the Ford CD ROM service disc, but it is very general& non specfic about disassembly. I have tried twisting, turning & squeezing the plastic nut on the opposite side of the bracket and can't get anything to give. I'm concerned about breaking the plastic mounting assembly that is manufactured on to the cable housing. Any thoughts / suggestions welcomed. TIA.
