First off once you have the switches in your hand how do you get the actual button off? I removed them from the truck so all I have now in my hand is the electronic box and the switch sitting on the top of it. Do I just pry the switch off? Any tips?

Also a friend of mine at work had an 01 Lightning and he bought the billet window switches for. He sold his truck before he had a chance to put them on so he asked if I wanted them. The problem is that I have an 04 L, and from what I have read no one makes switches for the 04's. Is this still true? Is there a way to modify the switches to make them fit?

I know this has been covered and I did search, but all I found was that some companies were working on switches for the 04's.....

 

I have an 01 and the black part of the switch just prys off and the billet snaps on there is a square pin that the switch plugs onto, just remember that the black part is only a cover so be carefull when you pry it off. Hope this helps.
