Being that I grew up in a Ford-only family and the fact that I need a vehicle to tow my bass boat, I have learned to love the F-series. Also, being someone interested in speed, both on the water and on the road (obviously using it under safe circumstances) I have started looking into the Lightning as the first vehicle that I will buy when I get out of college. I have a bunch of basic questions about it, though.
1) Being a limited production vehicle, how hard is it to get new?
2) What is the base price?
3) Does it come in a 4 dr. configuration?
4) How well does it tow? I currently have a 93 F-150 with the straight six and it will tow anything, just not very fast. On the other hand, my grandfather has an 05 F-150 and that tows my boat (~3500 lbs.) exceptionally well.
5) Is there a website with specs as well as options for recent Lightning models?
