WITHOUT the clunk washer installed, do you think that could contribute to the front tires wandering when it hits bumps driving down the road and following the "divits" in the street

i finally got my alignment/clunk-washer install done today at the local dealership...$89, all is well. noise gone, no pulling, tires saved!! got my washers from his guy i think (it's been a while) dplynn1@bellsouth.net

That sounds like the typical F-1 experience.
Without the clunk washers the alignment will change, so it MAY contribute to the front tires wanting to pull the steering wheel out of your hands, but I think it is mostly the tires.

So to make sure that I don't go through this tire alignment nightmare again, it sounds like I need to invest in some clunk washers ?

Who would be the choice to order from, PSP, JDM, Mike T, LFP, Chick?

Also, I've seen the diagrams for install but how long does it take and is a lift required ?
