Thumbs up S/C Hemi Rumble Bee gets squashed!

I'm in the L on my way home from a late nights work, and I get buzzed by a yellow truck with a cool hood, distinct sound under the hood and a mean exhaust. Well, he slams on the brakes realizing what he just passed and it was game-on. It was a yellow Rumble Bee with a HEMI and a cool aftermarket hood. Not the hood that comes with the Bee package.

The guys in the truck were cool. No trash talking and he's wanting to run from a roll. I told him to catch the next light and well see who has braging rights for the weekend. When we line up, I notice he has a sticker on the hood looking like it said 395h.p. Couldn't see it real well. I hear the s/c under the hood and asked if it were in fact supercharged? He said it was and he's been waiting to race a Lightning to see how his truck would do.

Here's your chance, I said!. Light turns green and were even until I get traction and then it was over. I hit second and the rear tires let out a sweet screem of brute torque and left him and his s/c hemi in the dust. Way-way in the dust. He get's next to me and asked what I had done to my truck.

I told hime the few mods I had done and he was still in disbelief. I then executed a turbo ricer that was hanging on our bumpers wanting in on the action. He and his tubo charged fart-pipe were struck down in a really bad way at the next light. Truck was running good on 94Oct.

Sweeeet. Ive always wanted to go against one of those, even if its non-S/C. But when ever I see one they all run for cover.

l-menace,
you know your viking mythology....Lol.
I struck the two down on warren between Wayne and Merriman rd.
Just on the edge of Westland going into Livonia.

Thanks Guys!
It was a good night for the L, the air was around 59deg. Just filled up with 94Oct. Nitto 555R's just didn't hook well or it would have been worse for them.

g-divisionboyz,
Just had the L out in Cali last year March, Ramona area. I'll be back out there this year for a few side jobs. Might take the L again. If I do, I'll bring some 94Oct and we'll do some bee squashing....
