I see that every L guy in here is shaking in their boots. Seems like the Busy Bee's spent so much cash on their rides that they can't afford to get a blower, whilest the L guys mod on. LMAO
lol, they all just about cream their pants when one guy on the board barely pulls a Lightning with an intake and a catback.
While I respect what he's done in that he's got a good running truck, he's going to need a lot more than a low boost S/C setup to handle %95 of the L's he'll run into. I wouldn't think L hunting will work out in his favor too often.

If it does, its rare.....

If he does then it has been at high cost and probably one of only a few in the country. A quick visit to the Kenne Bell website and you will see that KB hasnt worked out the issues with the Hemi yet and dont make a supercharger kit for the new dodges. They actually explain some of the problems created while trying to tune the truck. The fact is that my L is lightly modded and will smoke 99% of the Hemi powered trucks(even the modded ones). SO I guess the question is....Who's hunting who?

If you read the post on the rumble bee site, the guy flat out lied to the guy in the Lightning......just my opinion, but I think he's a *****head.
He soon will run across a Lightning that will eat his lunch.....and burst that hemi bubble.

Has anyone considered that most of the "times" that are thrown around the internet are when vehicles are prepped for the track?
I mean we throw around numbers like "a stock L should do a 13.5 in the 1/4" so this bumblebee is crap, but yet most street races are over by 80mph. These numbers (13.5) are totally useless in the real world and isn't that what this thread is all about?
How many of us pull up to a vett at a stop light and get out, VHT his lane, let the air out of his rear tires, and light up the rears, ready for a fight? ,- that's not real world, so probably the "race" times on the street aren't going to reflect the times and expectations that support our bench racing theories.
All this being said, almost anyone with a high powered vehicle with 40 psi in the rears is going to loose to a mid level Lightning (or any other) running around town with 22 psi in the rear tires.
You can beat almost any vehicle and driver on the road prepped for home depot, when you're the one looking for a street battle with nothing more than a tire guage.
So what's the real battle here, Ford vs. Dodge or my tire gauge vs. yours?
