Parting Shots...
I went out to do a final photo shoot of my truck today..
I think they turned out to be some of the best shots I've ever taken of the truck.
It's actually the first time I actually got a combination of CLEAN TRUCK, SUNSHINE, and CHROME WHEELS!

BAD: I got in over my head financially speaking in 2003 and 2004
BAD: my lightning motor that I'd sunk all my money into blew up
GOOD: alot of good folks here (in my sig) and the folks at JDM helped put the lightning back together again.
BAD: my finances were still royally screwed
GOOD: I got a job offer in another state that was going to pay very good money, I was to start earlier this year.
GOOD: In preparation for the upcoming move, I sold my existing house that I'd been living in for a few years and with the recent housing boom, I cashed out a fair chunk of equity. this allowed me to wipe the slate clean, pay off all credit cards, lines of credit, loans, etc.
GOOD: chopped up all credit cards to prevent "relapse"
BAD: new job company out of state had a major financial setback of their own and job offer became RISKY at best.
BAD: had to move all contents of 2300 sq ft house including one st.bernard and one girlfriend into 1000 sq ft apartment until job situation got straightened out.
BAD: job move isn't going to happen, so now have to find another permanent place to live.
GOOD: found a nice little house with a good size yard
BAD: again due to the recent housing boom this house is substantially smaller than my last house was 3 years ago, but somehow costs more???
BAD: I've got to cut the $470 a month Lightning payment out of my monthly budget to afford the house
GOOD: If I can sell the truck, I'll get rid of that monthly payment, as well as free up some money for the downpayment on the new home.
I think that about sums it up. sorry for the longwinded response, but quite frankly, alot of folks here helped me out big time last year, and I feel obligated to explain the situation in full.
I don't take selling the truck lightly, I've got alot invested in it, and I'm not just talking about money.
but I thought about this decision alot, and I think this is the best route.
I get a new place to live, and somebody gets a nice blue truck.
thanks.
Chris
We'll be sad to see ya go bro! I hope you stick around the boards and keep in touch. Oh, and put the heat on E-Luzion. He can cough up the dough, he just has to find his nutz again.
Go to nloc nelo section and pressure him!

Wow, Chris.... your story sounds really a whole bunch like mine own. Just paid off all the dumb azz debts and buying another house (condo). It is down to whether I can keep my own L or not. The 388 a month payment is a bit of money as I try to get my own bidness off of the ground. (I am right side up in this truck, too).
Such a nice truck, and I really like the chrome wheels.
Wish you the best of luck.

It will be sad to see it go, but hopefully your next project will be even better when things clear up for you.
BTW, the truck looks fantastic, and it is such a steal for the price you are asking. Good luck with the sale!
