Mounting Front License Plate

Does anybody know if there is a kit to mount a license plate to the front bumper without drilling? Or some way to attach it to the bumper grill? Thanks.

Go to any Ford dealer parts counter and ask for a front license plate bracket. They are plastic and snap in place. No need to drill any holes!

care to share anymore info on this? Never seen one from Ford for 99-04 Ls that didn't have to be screwed to the front cover.

Well, the one I took off the front of my truck is plastic and was held in place with four plastic push-pins (like the ones that hold in your headliner trim, etc.). Look at any late model F150 with a front tag (except for Kirst's truck) and you might see it.

So you still have 4 holes in the bumper cover then, got confused when you said in your reply- "No need to drill any holes!"

No, you do not need to drill holes because they already drilled the holes at the factory. Please stop being so obtuse and trying to pick apart every letter of every word I write. Here's a picture for those who cannot comprehend simple English.

Buddy relax. For "your truck" you are right that you don't need to drill holes. For a Lightning the entire lower portion including the bumper is covered with a one piece poly cover, so if you want to mount the plate factory style then you do need to drill holes. So am I being obtuse and picking apart everything you say too? Hopefully this is simple enough English for you.

BTW here is how I mounted mine>

That's the ugliest Lightning bumper I've ever seen.
