700+ RWHP on boost only?

Is there any Lightnings making 700+ HP on boost only? I know there are a bunch making 600+ Just curious who if anybody has made the 7xx mark and what kindof combo they used.

Good question. I made 621 rwhp on 21 psi of boost. And I know there's guys running 25+ psi of boost. I just don't know if an extra 4-5 psi would add that much power. Maybe that plus the bigger cams (Stage III vs. my Stage II).

Sal made 700+ SAE. I believe he is the only one on boost ONLY making those numbers.

And he still drives it to and from work.

That's his turbo setup, right? Taking nothing away, but I think he was looking for someone on a regular roots style blower, which eats up a lot more power than the turbo.

Yes; I am looking for someone running a standard Lightning style blower.

Been done with centrifugal and will turbo, haven't seen it yet with a roots.

Hopefully when the whipple comes out it will change that.

I have made 730 rwhp SAE on boost alone. I am changing my tiny 3" downpipe and exhaust to 4" and should be able to come close to, over go over, 800rwhp.

Oops, sorry. I have done over 700rwhp SAE with both the Procharger and the turbo. I made 690 with the Whipple at 26 psi a while back too.

VERY impressive Sal. I am looking hard at a turbo myself.

There is what I was looking for! Thanks Sal; you don't happen to have that chart you could still post up do you?

But, I like see how your ProCharger and Turbo have done too; gives us an idea of what is making the power
