The STD to SAE is one thing that boost #ers compared to what others use. I believe Sal is the only one who uses SAE #ers.
Anybody notice the little number on most charters that says "Smoothing"..... Almost every chart you find on L boards has a big ol' "0" for smoothing. It basically depends on how the truck ran and the numbers were put down, but you can adjust the smooth. Basically "5" is what actaully happened. As you move closer to "0" it takes all the jerks and bumps out of the line. If something happened that caused a power dip up top it will bring the line way up where it didn't go!
But, I'm a dumb redneck so what do I know

LMFAO, congrats, but please forgive me for questioning you when you posted a 773 hp dyno graph when he asked for BOOST ONLY. Glad you could find the correct ones to post
I'm 5'11 195. You act like for some reason I would be scared of you? I'm twice as sarcastic in person. Feel free to introduce yourself anytime you see me
You'll be the guy with your matchbox name on your shirt right?

Casey, zero smoothing is, well, zero smoothing, as in no smoothing. Five smoothing is maximum smoothing. Using zero smoothing will show all the peaks and dips. It will show a higher max value because it hasn't been averaged. Using 5 smoothing will average out the graph line and will show a lower max number. But the difference really should just be a few hp.
I use SAE correction because it's what was always used in this community. It's what people were used to. Others have started using STD numbers, because STD corrects to a more optimum weather condition and will show higher numbers. When I dyno people's vehicles, I will print out both corrections, and they can decide which to post.
