Track times...bogged

Ok mods are....
4lb pulley
Predator w/ dyno tune RWTD 388 & 475 corrected
Electric fan
FTVB
Nitto 555R

Best time was 8.43 @ 83 M.P.H

Best 60' I cut was a 1.91

I was told to heat my tires real good and punch it from idle by a reputable Lightning owner there.

I did so and cut a 1.9 60'....the truck bogged on me, ended up running like a 8.51 that run.

Should my truck bog like that? It did not spin at all when I did this.

What are yalls thoughts...

Im thinking of going with a ported blower or a 50 shot... My goal is 7.90s

Thanks,
Tim

Alot of people don't agree with me on my technique for launching, but it works for me. I get on the brakes hard at the light, run my rpms up to about 2k+, until it feels like it wants to start pushing through. When the lights go down, I just let off the brake and as soon as I feel it moving, I stab it.

My worst 60 this season on F1's is a 1.82 at a fairly poorly prepped track.

with that traction, a ported eaton would probably get rid of that bog sensation.......I wouldnt hit it off the line with a 50 shot.
