Is it worth the $$. Seems to make sense and i know it has some tradeoffs but opinions?

 

that was the big hoopla about a year or two ago. there are a few threads about it in here.

The conclusion was it was crazy expensive for the performance result

 

A much cheaper way to achieve the same thing would be a 25-30 dry shot of nitrous. Or maybe a bed mounted intercooler. But to each his own I suppose.

I thought the bed mounted coolers had to be filled with ice. seems like this is there at the push of a button and would deter detonation which seems to me a cheap price to pay if that is the case. Looks like the prices have been decreased some also. The previous threads must have been before my time, i'll do some digging thanks guys.
