My first mods?

OK guys time for the mods, Here's what I am planing to do. Ported eaton, phonolic spacer, and air kit. What else can I do without being in risk of blowing my motor. Im not an expert in my L and just starting to now about Ls, so I want to hear from the experts. thanks

Filter set up ( cool Air ), pulley, Chip, Plugs, new fuel filter (if it's been a while), factory tech valve body for the tranny.

Everyone has their favorite place to go but The Kenne Bell website has a tunning tips section for the Lightning. It has lots of ideas and talks about dyno results on specific parts. An example is the single blade throttle body. The Kenne Bell Dyno results say they really didnt see any improvement until the Lightning was producing more than 450 hp. They actually cover several subjects and recomend several things for you to consider. You dont have to buy KB products but you can get a bunch of ideas using their tech tips. I mean heck they do make a bad a$$ supercharger for the L.......

Go with an LFP Stage 1 Performance Kit, It Includes:

Quick Change Interchangeable Lower Pulley Kit

Deluxe 12'' Powerstack Cold Air Intake

Diablo Sport Predator Tuner

This is what most Daily Drivers start out with and will add approx. 90HP and 100ft. Lbs. Torque To The Wheels!

Also, consider changing to an LFP Stage 1 Valve Body with a Deep Sump Tranny Pan and Filter to eliminate soft shifts and shift timing and to keep your Trans cooler.

Deluxe E-Fan
C&L Power Pipe and Plenum

Yeah but its still funny.

Anyway Im kinda bored so I was looking over JDM's web page. I know they are a company and trying to sell their products, but they recommend a upgrade of the gears as one of the first mods. Any thoughts?
