guys...just realized that the red pieces on my '04 door panels don't light up when you open the door. After prying the lens off, there isn't a bulb/socket behind it!

Is this how all of them are..or did someone forget to put them in there?

Told ya it was stupid.

 

Its just used as a reflector.

 

IIRC, the lights were discontinued after the '01s (I have one and they do light up). Some guys have actually done a MOD for this: added bulbs to the "reflector"
