It's the same as a regular F150... Dunno if there are any F150's in junkyards over there, but I'd give that a shot.

it's a 21mm lugnut. A deep socket and breaker bar will work perfect.

How's he gonna get the spare tire down with a 21mm socket & breaker bar?
Beat the hell outta it?

mlumb,

Do you have a locking tool stored with you jack and handle under the passenger seat? It will look like a hollow tube, about 4" long, with a clover design on one end. This piece fits over the end of a standard F150 jack handleand it engages the lock in the spare tire winch. Hopefully, you have that piece and only need the jack handle. Mine was missing both and it had to get nasty.

Herb

ps - here's a couple photos to help out

One more...

This is the lock on the tire winch under the bed. This is at the end of the plastic "trumpet" that the jack handle and lock tool are inserted into, through the hole in the bumper.

Non-locking versions look just like the hole in the **** on the bottle jack, rather than this clover leaf.

Good Luck,
Herb

cheers Herb.
looks like im going to have trouble,i have no long wrench and no end piece.
i could make up a piece to copy the style that go's in the bottle jack, but the clover leaf would be difficult.
did they all come with the locks on or were they optional?
mike.

No Problem Mike!

I don't know if all L's have locking spares, but I think they do. My regular (non-L) F-150 does not have a lock.

Check out this thread for some more info about the spare winch (too bad its not a spare wench) issue...
