b/c with the power you are making you will be getting wheel hop on launch and have a good chance of breaking your d/s like svtpete.

I highly recomend traction bars.
I have had a bad experience with the driveshaft breaking and causing my airbags to deploy.
i am now using jlp traction bars and i have been pleased with them.

Can't be done. Nearly every mod that will help you get into the 12s will also decrease the margin for error built in by Ford, thereby "risking engine problems."

Raise the rev limiter/shift points? Increase timing? Lean it out? Turn off torque reduction? They will make you fast, but take away from the margin for error. Ford didn't leave free speed on the table -- it all comes at a cost.

There are many people consistently making monster horsepower on stock blocks. But they all know that failure could be just around the corner.

There is not a universally accepted solution to just about anything on our trucks. You will have to settle for competing opinions. Considering how many people are clueless and/or on their fourth engine and eighth transmission, be very careful who you pay attention to. Question everything that you read here - everything. There are lots of idiots on these boards. Some may consider me one of them.
