DAM.........That sucks........

Get a two way paging system like the Viper 791VX.
I got mine installed the very next day when I brought my L
If you do get the Viper 791VX, ask your installer to bypass the PAT system and install the chip (that is in your keys) in the steering wheel column. The reason why was them DEI PAT by-pass sucks........I had a hard time with them DEI 555F and the DEI 555P. Most Alarm installers just junk them anyway.
Now, I use my remote starts without any problem.

Oh, I also use the old school club on my steering wheel to slow them fools down......

No alarm will stop them, just slow them down or make them think twice if they want to spent that extra time breaking in......

Good Luck.........

I recently had my truck broken into and everything was taken. My entire sound system, cd's...everything was gone. I discovered hand prints and smudges on the bed cover and the back window was slightly open. So I figure that they got in through the sliding back window. Anyway, I just bought like a very thin metal rod and will have it cut, which i will use a dowel to keep the window from being opened. I figure this is a good idea and some cheap insurance and thought i would share.

One more thing. Can anyone recommend a good alarm system for me? Thanks

fricken thieves......

thanks for the tip
