Id weld it if unless they mount dif than my JLP ones. If you dont they will start to bend the mount more as you tighten it up. Not sure tho

Off to the welders i guess.

Par for the course for my first few mods

Got a ftvb and deep pan kit from Tim@chickenears and the pan wasnt punched for the drain(which Tim promptly replaced ) but i dont think i will try to get mark to replace this piece,..easier to just run out to the welder.

Anyone with an estimate of how long it takes James at rwtd to get a tune out to ya after you post on his forum for a new tune?

Its hard to achieve quality control over your products when your just the middleman and never touched the product to begin with.

Maybe he will give you money back. monkeys will fly then as well.

Mine did the same, but I was able to break the pin nut loose and get it straight.

If you have the time to wait, try PB Blaster on the nuts and let is sit a few hours - it should break loose.

That is a gusset which is used for extra support. The guage of steel is strong enough so that they will not need to be welded. If your concerened call Mark, he'll switch it out for you.

Well got it all together and everything is good, cept for my stock exhaust which is basically sitting on top of the passenger side bar.

Now it is raining again here so in the next couple of days i will try to adjust it up some,....or worst case scenario head off to a muffler shop and let them heat and bend some piece of it.

Any of you guys with these type bars have any troubles getting on a lift ?

Rob said he was going to have some problems with his Bars on the lift when he went to get a inspection so just watch and see before they lift it up.

If you know your going to put your truck on a lift, take the 10 minutes it takes to drop out the 4 bolts connecting the bars to the brackets and walla no more problem. They aren't loaded so they remove easily.

I did not. They had spacers for the lift points that cleared them.
