If you find a good deal, and it helps to order more, I am ready for some as well. I am in Norwalk and can easily make time to come to your shop.

Discount Tire Direct has some of the cheapest prices on Nittos. If you are looking to get new tires for less, look into the Toyos at TireSavings.com they are about $40 cheaper each tire. I haven't used them personally, but a friend has and liked them. If you have a Tires Plus near you, see if they will price match on the Nittos (accidently forget to include the shipping, hint) and they might even charge the normal fee for mounting and balancing instead of the oversized wheel charge.

you drive with 555r's on all 4 wheels? no wonder you're faster than ronbo.

Last time I was at JDM I saw a Lightning sitting there on 4 555R's. I just shook my head. -Mat-

Are they good tires for road course? The sidewalls seem tall and not very strong.

Anyone have info on this?

Are these 555R's made by Nitto? If so, are they a drag racing slick or a road racing type tire?

I think the 555RR(I think that is one of the three 555's) is more of a road race design.

If some one is kind enough to answer my original question we may have a good answer.

nice

i'm still waiting to order my set. I could be out driving it in the first weeks of spring but my inspection sticker expired last september and my tires are BALD.

www.onlinetires.com had them for 230 a piece plus ups ground of 30 bucks.

With so many of us needing them, anyone interested in setting up a group buy???
