Question NMRA Events

Do you have to join NMRA to race in a couple on events? (Atco and Maple Grove). Also I have a sticker on the outside of my HJC full face helment that says DOT and Snell approved, no # like (90 or 95) is this ok? There is no label on the inside that I can find.

to run the Truck and Lightning class yes you need to join the nmra to get your competition number. you can run brackets without being a nmra member though.

on your helmet is there a snell sticker under the padding on the inside of the helmet or a label stitched to the strap? dont know if a sticker that just says snell on the outside will cut it.

You need the sticker.
It is a hologram with SA or M 2000.
They failed mine last year.

Hey Chief,
My helmet says "Snell M95" on the back, is that what they failed you for? I assume this number means the standards for 1995??
Thanks in advance,
Bryan

My sticker inside only says "Shell constructed of hybrid fiberglass, carbon fiber, and kevlar with a polystrene liner." No mention of the Snell! It's an Answer motorcross helmet. Guess I have to buy a new helmet??

I found a sticker on the inside of the helmet under all the padding that say's M2000/ Snell and some fine print. Nothing on the chin strap and I didn't see the Holagram (sp). Is this ok?

Looking to run 11.49 or slower, Don't want to put rollgage in. Truck dynoed at 557hp, level 10 tranny, stock convertor for now.
Should be hitting the track in the next week or two. Putting drive shaft loop and line lock in this week.
