Dodge marketing obviously doesn't understand what these nameplates mean to Die-Hard Motorheads. Even as a Ford guy, I respect these nameplates.

Heck, I'm surprised DODGE doesn't take the COBRA-JET nameplate.

I had one of our vendor's see a screen saver on the computer at work, lightning doing a burn out, he say's I got a hemi that'll blow that thing away. My co-worker informs him that I own a lightning and he says,"I just sunk $4000 in my hemi, you want to race?" I said, "sure"!
Then the same old rhetoric begins, "I can smoke the wheels easy, the lightning's break easy..........
My co-worker was seriously enjoying, considering he has a Dudge!!
Next he want's me to ride in his truck, he'll put his paycheck on the dash and say's that I won't be able to grab it when he hit's the gas!!(He didn't have the truck with him)

I really wish I had my truck at work that day, he wasn't willing to meet me half way (I live 32 miles from work). Wouldn't have been a race anyway.

There's one of the rust colored ones at the dealership down the street from us. It has to be the ugliest new truck I've ever seen. That wing is soooo gay.

 

Why do domestic car companies make so many turds these days? There is "special edition" crap being peddled on every corner now.

 

it seems they are trying to get a foothold on the younger market. you know put a wing and some gaudy decals and ITS A WINNER!

 

There's a poo-colored one at the dealership near my house. I saw it the other day and started laughing. Wing and decals = fast!

The Dodge dealer near me has one in Silver and one they call Mango. When I drove by I just caught a quick glance at them. After I stoped and got a closer look all I thought was, you have to be kidding me! what a joke, look at the size of that wing. And then here comes the salesman telling me what a cool truck it is. I said ohh yeah real cool. They also had a Ray Evernham edition truck it had all the great decals that make a Dodge limited edition truck. Dodge has more special edition trucks than Ford and Chevy put together. GO HEMI ROCK ON!!
