I went through a stock trans @ 13,000 miles, Blew up a Dante prepped trans 300 miles later and now I have GE Monster Box/TD convertor that I love so far ( only 300 miles on it ).
And Yes my TQ reduction is off and NO line pressure is added.

 

It may not be your tranny...check your wiring connections to see if they are loose, and also make sure none of your wiring has been burned or singed on your exhaust. I've seen and heard of this happening more than once.
