Anybody know of any websites or links that give maybe a step by step proccess on how to change the spark plugs? Im hereing that it takes up wards of 1-1 1/2 or 2 too 3 hours if its your first time with the L to change the plugs. I really dont want to give an arm and a leg to a shop to change them. special tools ect.....

Make sure you have that 7mm 1/4 drive swivel socket. Have a lot of patience and allow yourself 3-4 hours to do the job. Some guys the first time around get done much quicker, but seems like most of us hit around 3-4 hours the first time. It's not that hard of a job - just tricky to get at some of the coil pack screws.

Also - be careful on the plug pack screw for #7 (under the fuel pressure regulator). Its a bit of a bear to get to and easy to strip. Take you time and start everything by hand before putting a wrench on it. Remember, you're threading steel into aluminum.

Ditto on the 7mm swivel socket. I also got a set of 3/8" and 1/4" locking extensions and a mag. pick-up tool. You'l be glad you have those.
