Just had to have both u joints replaced at 37K. It will have a vibration that comes from the rear of the truck and feels to have a sideways feel. Like a left to right type of movement. If you have a soda in the cupholder it will begin to shake the soda out of the can..

You will feel it in your butt and back more than anywhere else

If you are easing along like in driveway, you will hear rythmic squeaking that increases in frequency with speed and may get louder under increasing load. You may hear it pop when shifting from drive to reverse while parked with the brake applied. If they are real bad, you will hear popping.

Best test is placing screwdriver in betwwen joint and yoke and prying back and forth to see if you can detect any movement, if any noted, replace joint.

When I took it to the dealer today I noticed a weird feeling when it shifted. Maybe it is my imagination, no vibrations, but I am having them check them out anyways.

Mine had no vibrations before it went. I did have a clunk noise when going from Drive into reverse for the last couple of times before it gernaded.
