WaveBlaster

Put them on the Drivers side for two reasons, one was because god forbid I got whaled in the rear, I didn't want them behind my son, the other reason was me being plain ole' lazy, thats where the Nitrous Line travels down the truck underneath, hehehehe....
(I guess it seemed like the logical place at the time)

does it really matter who has a bigger bottle?

A lightning engine can only take so much nitrous before it lifts a head!

You guys are way out there when you hit a 100 shot of nitrous that head gasket is will in pieces.

First.......yes it does

As any women will tell you............SIZE MATTERS

Since you the expert, why don't you tell us your personal experiences with nitrous. And also, in your opinion, what is the maxiumn shot that the Lightning head gasket assembly will handle. And finally, what are your goals for this race season, and how do you expect to realize them?

Finally........The only thing that will be in pieces is you idea of what is feasible and what is not

1. Umm I don't think I've ever said I was an expert in nitrous. Actually I'm not a fan of nitrous

2. I know JLP lifted his head on his 9.XX Run with a 100 shot, but I'm sure your motor is much more capable of handling more nitrous than his. However, I'm sure you could remove the eaton all together and use a much bigger shot of nitrous than 100.
It's kinda common sense that the head gaskets are a weak point. I think you'll agree that they can only take so much pressure before they fail. Now if you run a substantial amount of boost and then add Nitrous on top of that, the extra oxygen that nitrous delivers will result in a larger (for lack of better words) BANG in the combustion chamber. Those Head gaskets can only handle so large a bang.

3. My goals, Lets see I go to the track twice a year, so my goals are to improve on my best time. However, this year I will only be going to race the 1/4 mile track once. (priorities you know)

4. Ummm... It's kinda incoherent, can you rephrase it? I'm not sure if you are saying:

Finally . . . the only thing that will be in pieces it you, idea of what is feasible and what is not.

OR

Finally . . . the only thing that will be in peices is your idea of what is feasible and what is not.

Riddle me this;
How is a bigger bottle better? If you use a 50 shot jet and Rob02 uses a 50 shot jet with his two tanks, why is the larger tank better?

Honestly, I'm curious to the answer.

If my stock Block can take an instant 100HP from a dead stop,
(which is how I was Launching it up to now)
My built block will surely take another 50

Beside, I have a wrrnty
What is the wrrnty Sal, 10 years 100K ???

Really? Your Head and gaskets held up to all that? a 100hp shot from a dead stop.

Then explain this?

First thoughts and look at the inside of my motor proved to be pretty impressive, and showed no major flaws (OR SO WE THOUGHT).

Now it turns out, the head gasket area is scorched on both heads, (and block deck in several places). I’m told I was VERY close to a head gasket blowout.

Now if that’s not bad enough, the Motor Shop checked the Block and Heads yesterday and found both are all warped, #*^@#$*@
#$*@#. Which of course now means the block has to be squared and decked, and the heads have to be milled, etc.

deleted some of the garbage

Amazing how something can run so perfect, so strong, and so consistent, yet have so much wrong with it, (with hardly any miles on it, @12-13K). I guess they DON’T just explode as I thought, it seems as I always thought, they’re simply time bombs waiting to explode,
and I was clearly on borrowed time.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say that you were QUOTE "VERY close to a head gasket blowout" and also QUOTE "I was clearly on borrowed time."

Being that I remember EVERYTHING I read, which is true? that your stock engine handled it or that it BARELY handled it?

I'm not trying to get into a pissing match with you, but don't call me out like this.

relax........

I missed the r key when I was typing your, I made it you.
My bad about you being an expert in nitrous. As you well know (being a lawyer and such) When you put forth a statment such as..........
A lightning engine can only take so much nitrous before it lifts a head!

You guys are way out there when you hit a 100 shot of nitrous that head gasket is will in pieces.
You can see where my confusion comes from, thinking your a nitrous expert when making statments like the above. Forgive me for making that assumption.

You say, you know that JL lifted a head running a 9.XX. So you must know the condition of his motor, and how that compares to my motor. Would you please explain the differences, so I would know?

See what happens when you make blanket statments?

On the head gaskets failing. Do you know why they fail? If so, please explain. One thought to consider, before you do. It might not be the head gasket failing, but the hardware that clamps the head to the block.

Don't take what I say personal. It just that I question statments from people without knowing their qualifications. After hearing yours, Iam sure I will take what you say with the upmost respect.

You Lawyers are such sticklers about the English language. But then again, if the law was written in simply English, I could go to the local 7-11, for my interpretations

As far as your riddle about bottles..........

That my point exactly! Everybody (you know who you are) spouting off about your twin bottle setup. My single bottle will do the exact same thing, but then again, I can't brag about twin bottles

Does that answer your riddle, Riddler?
