This Grand Cherokee thing is kind of uncanny.
I just picked up a 98 GC for a replacement daily driver when I scattered the rods in my L.
It's a pretty damn sweet ride. It's the Limited with sunroof, leather, Quadra-trac the 318 V8, etc. Gotta say - I impressed with it. It's no L but....

well, i pick it up tomorrow around 1:00 pm. looks like i'll have my work cut out for me as far as resisting mods is concerned. lol, i find my will weakening when i see the pics and read the posts here. dang it!! yes that is/was me on JU. i SOLD my wj to my wife. yes i said sold it to her. i wanted to buy a ranger pick up for a daily driver and told her it was gone cause i wanted to use the money as a down on the truck. she wanted it so i sold it to her. she gave her honda to her daughter (my step daughter). i said i wouldn't do anything to the ranger either but that lasted about a month. here's a link so you can see the jeep and the ranger...here

Last time at the track I ran a 14.4 in my ZJ. since they I have added a custom tuned chip and the mopar performance intake manifold (M1) This summer I am thinking shift kit, cam, and roller rockers... Bye bye BIRDY111 I wil own you!

LOL - I already have TOO many modded vehicles to keep up with. The GC is a wedding cake delivery rig on the weekends and my DD otherwise. The only time its going to see the track is when it takes my sorry butt there cuz the L is broken!
Actually our replacement DD hunt was like 3 days long and we got into a real clean 98 with 87K for less than I'm going to spend to get the L back on the road - no complaints there. It's fairly 'gutsy' with the full time 4WD and the V8 - Hey it's only .2L samller than the L...

well, i got it. handles like a dream. when i needed to make a quick pass on the highway...wow. had to stop several times to wash the bugs off the front end...you know me. lol. it gets a new python 881 today, tint this weekend. got 17 mpg going 75-80 mph, not too bad.
