Anyone using the motoblue intake?

Anyone have anything to say good or bad about the motoblue air intake with the true flow inlet pipe? I am thinking of getting one. It looks like a nice piece.

Also, does a polished thrrottle body and upper intake really make 30 plus rearwheel hp.
If not the moto blue what is the best intake option in everyones opinions? Thanks

Cool

If you are talking about the kit that has the 95mm MAF, C&L Tru-Flow elbow and the filter, here's some info:

Art-Man has that exact kit and with a 6 lb. lower, Accufab tb, electric fans and a Magnaflow muffler (not a cat-back, just the muffler) he put down 405 HP and 517 Tq on a Mustang dyno. It would have been a bit higher on a Dynojet...

I helped him install it - it seems like a nice piece, fits perfect, looks good and seems to perform.

I wonder if the 95mm MAF helps to keep from pegging it ??

Hi !

My only Mods are:

Mac Cat Back
FRPP Lowering

and Mac / Motoblue 95mm Mass Air CAI with the C&L Trueflow Pipe.

I love the CAI. My feeling says it works. My ears said it sounds great !

Greetings from germany,

André

That is a nice looking unit, but looks like it draws too much hot air from the engine compartment for my liking. I think you would be just as well served using a K&N drop in with an added duct bringing in additional fresh air. The money you save would be better spent on a FTVB. Just my opinion of course.

Hey Chester or anyone else who knows, who installs the ftvb? A transmission shop. If so is it basic so they will know what they are doing?

It's a very simple process to do it yourself. There is several how-to's on installing the FTVB. It requires simple hand tools.
