Folks,

Feeling a bit down, the tranny is in shop with a burned out tranny at 60k, the shop have ordered the parts from the states to be shipped the parts to the UK.

I have seen the dis membered parts on the bench from the box, looks like everything failed and turned into metal filings

I have a idea, looks like the thick end of $4000 to get right.

Was advised to ship a new box over, but the cost of frieght for a complete new box would be double!!

Anyway the truck gave me a good kill with the Porker 2 at the traffic lights around Heathrow Airport, before the tranny went into bremmel mode...

Oh well these things happen...

 

Not to worry, my transmission went at 3000 Km and Ford questioned warrenty and a huge legal mess started from there. I won .
Everything will be fine, get it fixed and life will go on.Cheer up, It's only money; You can't take it with you .

 

I'd order the Monster Box in a Box.

It is all the parts for the monster box, however, your mechanic assumbles the new parts. It is basically indestructible.
