intercooler update

Read all about it.
Basically if your intercooler tank is low and you have to refill it, your i'c is leaking.
Some say go to the dealership and they can pull it up on Oasis, however, I bought the parts and changed it myself so Oasis will NOT show it.
You can always pull off the s/C and count the rows. If it has 9 rows it is the leaky original type, if it has 10 rows you should be good to go.
Need more info, let us know

Low water level
hehehehe
On my 99 it flat disapeared! I could take the lid off the resavoir and hear the vacum. It would suck when I put my hand on it.
The recall had expired and I had to fork out the money to do it myself.
It ran fine with the leak, in fact the boost would go to 10lbs because of the hot expanding air.
I bought it used from a dealer and took it back to see if they would help. The filled it up with coolant and told me there wasn't a problem. That disappeared in less than 100 miles.
It really isn't that hard to do. Plenty of info here. Took me about 3 hrs from start to finish.
If yours is still working don't worry about it. Just save some money in case it does.
HAHAHAHA Thats funny. I doubt anyone that hangs out here can save money.....
