Need help on fog mod

I did the fog mod just like the instructions(cutting) the tap down but it still will not work in the parking lamp position.
I know I cut enough down just the the headlight part.

Anyone know of something else to try/help

I think you have to connect the #2 and #12 wires together

Brook does that mean you HAVE TO splice the wires together? I just want the park and fogs not the high beams

You just use a jumper right?

Rick

Yes, in order to run the just the parks and fogs together (no heads) you need to splice #2 and #12. The park position doesn't power the fogs from the factory, like the auto position does, so you're splicing power from the parks to the fogs.

I wasn't going to answer in this, because I forgot what the wire #'s were. But thats what I did, no modding the headlight switch, just splice a jumper between the wires (2 & 12). This way, my fogs are on with the parking lights and also with the automatic lights. 3 yrs running that setup, with no problems
