(Denisty of air in) x (Area of inlet) x (volume of air in) = (Density of air out) x (area of outlet) x (volume of air out)
since on that plenum the area of inlet and outlet is the same it drops down to
(Density of air in) x (volume of air in) = (density of air out) x (volume of air out)
and since the density of air will pratically be the same
volume in = volume out = you pretty much did nothing but make that plenum hideous
suprised this thread is still open

I like the FRANKEN-plenum idea and may paint it green.
No reason to close it, I asked for the flames.
increasing the volume of air before the blower opening and after the t/b will lower your static pressure within the plenum for sure.
and by doing that you will be lowering the temps of the incoming air.
so you will see a gain in hp.
if the gain is worth it to you is another topic altogether.
but you got nothing to lose in trying,,,,,,,,,,,,you were probably gonna buy a after market one any ways

The Raised supercharger top. SC's are top entry. They dont give alot of room. Its kinda a bottleneck. We make raised tops and it improves high end flow. Lots of guys make them at home. Or sell them cheap at $150 a pop. Granted the inlet on a stock lightning is pretty good.
