IT WORKED!!! The N.J. 'Noise Bill' has been OFFICIALLY Squashed

Thats right.

Chalk one up for the racers

Remember a few months back when Englishtown N.J. was under the gun with a noise bill that would have basically put them and all other race tracks in N.J. eventually out of business.

Then there was the big meeting (I was there) with about 700 racers going against the 2 politicians.

WELL IT WORKED

New Jersey motoring racing announced on Feb. 26th 2005 that State Bill A3425 has been WITHDRAWN .

So racing for the 42 Licensed tracks will continue for a long time too come.

As Nitrous Ronbo would say ,WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!

While I'm glad the law did not go though. I just wish Etown would get a little bitch-slapped. That track is so pisspoorly managed and no official has time for you unless you're driving in an Fbody or Mustang. I loathe that place so much. They need to be taken down a peg and realize that while there are lots of stangs and fbodys - there are countless more in other cars who enjoy a day of racing. Atco and Cecil forever.

I grew up 3 miles away from Orlando International (it was called McCoy back then). One time I was talking with a client in a new sub-division approx 4 miles from the airport. This person had bought the house new just 6 months prior. He was trying to get signatures on a petition to have the airport change the routing of the flights. I just asked him if the airport was there when he bought his house and he said "but it's so much busier now". I asked him if he thought Orlando International was going to get smaller? Some people are a waste of oxygen.

Glad to hear that! We had something similar here in hampton roads with people bitching about aircraft noise. I hate to say it but the base has been there a helluva lot longer than your house so SUCK IT UP and live with it. Same things with 1/4 tracks.....we didn't ask you to build houses next to the track did we?

This is the same everywhere after new housing developments go up. They all start b!tchin' about the local business' that have been there for years.

Definitely Good News! Thanks to all the racers who attended that meeting!
